OnePlus Scout v1.3
Scout is a Universal Search feature that enables users to search for local data on the device from a single place. On-device search includes apps, shortcuts, settings, contacts, files and messages. Scout also helps users to search in-app results from audio streaming apps, video streaming apps, e-commerce and a lot more.

Product Manager for the v1.3. Brainstorming & Conceptualising, User Feedback, User Research, UX Design, Visual Design, Interaction Design, Messaging, Testing.
With v1, Scout introduced the feature to Indian users. With various feedback from users, we improved the v1.3 with experience enhancements to load the results faster, expand the search scope to Contacts, Settings, and load results with abbreviations and misspellings.
Research & Brainstorming
We started research to find out the feedback from our users with analyzing the usage and the improvement suggestions, interviewed users to understand their behaviour and prepared a product direction for v1.3.
Designing the User Interface
We ought to improve the user experience by unifying the apps and shortcuts together to increase the visibility & the CTR for shortcuts.
Improvements also include new templates for results from in-app searches such as e-commerce results, streaming content results so that we prioritize the content previews so that users can make a better choice at finding the results they're looking for, resulting in an increase in CTR.
As we decided to work in sprints, I had to ship the designs in a phase-wise manner so that the developers can build with what is designed to ensure we build the app in parallel.
